The schedule for our summer meetings and drills is as follows:

October 1, 2, 2011.   Hillsborough River Raid. Veteran's Memorial Park, Tampa, FL.  The original battle took place at Ballast Point, Tampa.  Sponsored by the Hillsborough County Parks and hosted by the USS Fort Henry.  No fee for reenactors.  Battles at 1:30 PM Saturday and Sunday.   Reenactors contact Lew Zerfas at gunboat@ussforthenry.com or Dave Ekardt at ekardt1@tampabay.rr.com

October 14, 15, 16, 2011.   Pellicer Creek Raid.  Battles will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 1 PM.  A presentation entitled "Confederate Storehouse: Florida's Role as a Supplier during the War" will be given on Saturday. There will be no reenactor fees.  Directions: 7900 Old Kings Road, Palm Coast, FL.  Directions: from north I-95 to exit 298 ( Palm Coast Parkway).  Turn left on Palm Coast Pky and go 2-3 miles until the road dead-ends at US 1.  Turn right (north) on US 1, go about 6 miles to Old Kings Road and turn right.  For more information, email Capt. October 21, 22, 23, 2011. Dade City, FL.NOTICE: NEW DATE. Additional information will be dispersed as it is obtained.

November 4, 5, 6, 2011.   Ocklawaha River Raid.  NOTICE: NEW LOCATION.  The event will now take place at the Carriage Museum located at 3000 Marion County Road, Weirsdale, FL. 32195.  This re-enactment is hosted by the 4th Florida Infantry, Company G., 2nd Battalion, Hardy's Brigade.  This event commemorates the March 1865 Union army raid on plantations east of Ocala in Marion County and the resulting skirmish with local Confederate forces near the Ocklawaha River.  The event has a new website located at   www.ocklawahariverraid.com    For more information, contact Lt. November 12, 13, 2011. Egmont Key. This is a living history in support of the Egmont Key Alliance portraying the Confederate garrison on the key. Expect first person portrayal throughout the weekend with usual garrison details, i.e. guard mount, pay call, rations, colors, etc. Details will be forwarded as they are obtained. November 18, 19, 20, 2011.   Raid On The Suwannee River.  Live Oak, Florida.  Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park  Their website is located at  http://www.musicliveshere.com/content/index.php   Directions: From I-10, take exit #283 and go north on US 129 for 4.5 miles.  From I-75, take exit #451 and go south for 4.5 miles.  Look for the signs - "Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park".  The park is located between I-10 and I-75.  The park's address is 3076 95th Drive, Live Oak, Florida 32060.
